Activities

  1. Interact Club: A unit of Rotary Mysore R.I District 3180 is running in our institution for the past 18 years. The main aim of the club is service to the society. They visit various orphanages and old age homes and interact with the people.
  2. Consumer Club: To create awareness among consumers and to protect them from being cheated Grahakara Parishath has introduced a club by name "Consumer Club" which is running successfully for the last 5 yeas.
  3. Eco-Club – a unit of Science Club: The main aim of the club is to educate and aim themselves to protect and save environment, cultivating Kitchen garden and Medicinal plants, adopting Drip irrigation system, et al, are the activities undertaken by this club.
  4. Literary and Cultural activities are a part of co-curricular activities: Members of this club, actively participate in various competitions conducted by different schools and organizations throughout the city.
  5. Apart from this, inter-school competitions, on various subjects, both academic and general, are conducted by the institution, from time to time.
  6. All the National festivals and important days like World Environment Day, Youth Day, Science Day, Sanskrit Day etc., are celebrated, espousing the importance of such festivals/days. Some of the religious festivals like Janntastami, Ganesha Chathurthi, Huthri are also celebrated to inculcate the relevance of festivals amongst children.
  7. Every year tours are conducted for all the classes to various places depending upon the class to which the students belong.
  8. Magazine : Cauvery Kusuma has always been a magnificent display of time, talent and treasure that the institution has been proudly endowed with. The college magazine is published every year. Students are encouraged to take keen interest in the magazine and make it a journal of good repute and to contribute their best literary efforts to it.
  9. NCC for Boys and Girls: Boys NCC started in 1995, 13 KAR BN NCC, Mysore. After two years service cadets are eligible to appear for 'A' Certificate Examination.
